Privacy policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
The short version: this website uses no cookies and no tracking. If I email you or you email me, I only use your details to talk with you and to build CampaignLedger. I never sell or share them, and you can ask me to delete them at any time.
Who I am
CampaignLedger is a product in development, built by Ahmad Eknan in the Netherlands. CampaignLedger is not a registered company yet. I decide how your personal data is used here, which makes me the "controller" under the GDPR.

This website
This site has no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts. The fonts are stored on this site, so loading a page doesn't contact Google or anyone else.
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes some technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. I don't use this data to identify you.
If I emailed you
I contact influencer and marketing agencies to learn how they work. I use business contact details that are publicly available, for example on your company website or LinkedIn.
- What I keep: your name, work email, company, role, and notes on what we discussed.
- Why: to ask about your workflow and build a product that fits how agencies work.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You can object at any time. Reply "stop", or tell me in your own words, and I won't contact you again. I'll delete your details and keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, so I don't email you again by mistake.
If you email me
I use your email address and what you write to reply to you and to improve CampaignLedger. If you take up the founding offer (50% off your first 2 months), I keep your contact details so I can give you early access and the discount when it launches.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). For the founding offer: steps you asked me to take before an agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Who else handles your data
- Zoho Mail (Zoho Corporation) for email, stored in Zoho's EU data centres.
- Netlify (Netlify, Inc., United States) for website hosting. Netlify is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and also uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers.
- Productivity tools I use to keep notes and plan my work, such as a task manager and AI assistants. These may process your name and company.
I don't sell, rent or share your data with anyone else, I don't add you to mailing lists, and I don't make automated decisions about you.
How long I keep it
- If you never reply to my emails: deleted within 12 months of my last email.
- If we've talked: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
- Founding offer: until it's used or you tell me you're no longer interested.
- Website server logs: kept by Netlify under its own retention policy.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you the data I have about you, correct it, delete it, limit how I use it, or send it to you in a usable format. You can also object to how I use it. Email ahmad@campaignledger.io and I'll respond within one month.
If you're not happy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or to the data protection authority where you live, such as the ICO in the UK.
Changes
If anything here changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
